The RA Point to Point at Larkhill Racecourse is a key social and sporting event in the racing calendar.
It is one of the first of the year, and attracts a top quality field.
It is always full of thrills and spills on the track, and there are also stands selling everything from hats to burgers.
It is usually in January, so it can be pretty chilly.
Most people layer up and hats are a very good idea!
There is usually a bar, run by the supporters club, and lunch is also available if booked in advance.

A range of events are organised throughout the year. In addition to the RA Hunt Supporters’ Club events, we have an annual hunt ball (sometimes we have two - one based in Wiltshire and another in London), and a Point to Point.
Our balls are an opportunity for us all to dress up and enjoy a glittering evening with some dancing.
It’s fun to try and spot who you recognise without their riding hat on!
